Concrete Voids
HFP can assist with creating this void. It is basically a custom shape made from EPS material that is designed to create a void during a concrete pour.
This void can be created for piping that needs to run thru the concrete, or to create a cavity for electrical installation at a later time. The EPS material is cut to duplicate the piece that will be running through the concrete. The foam is put in place, the concrete poured around it and after curing the foam is removed, creating a void or negative space where the pipe, or conduit is then installed. This process utilizing a EPS material shape is a time tested solution to concrete void problems.
